Learn to recognize, evaluate and avoid casting defects
The correct assessment of casting defects in light metal cast components is the basis for effective defect control by researching the cause in the first step and selecting the correct remedial measures to improve the component quality in the second step.
In the theoretical part of the seminar you will acquire basic knowledge to analyze casting defects with the right tools and to be able to name them correctly.
Then we look at defective parts under the stereo microscope in the workshop and discuss measures to avoid them, preferably based on the components you have brought with you.
